Hi Marie, I lost my husband in an accident on his way home from a meeting at work. All deaths are so hard while I didn't have to watch mines health fail or see him in pain which I am very grateful for, the suddenness of having him just be gone with no warning was also very hard to get over. I remember those early months when the pain was a constant in my chest. I am very sorry you have to go through this! It does become easier, doesn't go away but it will become easier to deal with. Marie - I lost my husband very suddenly to a heart attack in Sept. - I would be glad to be your friend - we can hold hands and cry on eachothers shoulder.

We are here for you and are so sorry that you are in such emotional pain. Come back to the site as many times as needed to receive friendship and a whole bunch of encouragement. My husband passed away over four years ago, and those first awful days and weeks were excruciating. My family and friends were a wonderful support to me while I struggled to see any future. In time, my world broadened and I knew that I would not only survive but reach the other side of the terrible darkness that engulfed me. We walk this path at different speeds, so be patient with yourself and know that you will find your way out of the shadow you are under.

We all have felt the deep loss that you are experiencing and know the longing to talk with someone who understands. No question or emotion is too insignificant to submit. DS members are a great group of compassionate people who are ready to listen and help. May you feel God's loving arms embracing you as you walk this difficult path. Reach out and hold tight. TJ

HI Marie, Although a long way off, coulnt me as a friend to help too. My sweet darling wife died just six months ago from cancer. And the first weeks and months were so awefully painful; I missed her so much i wished I had died too. We are all here to help and share. Love John
