its been a month since my brynjar died,we had gone for a vacation for a week,but that week didn't last,he died on the 3rd day while we were still there,asphyxia it was,he just fell down from our hotel room and that's how he was gone,I wasn't prepared for that,he was rushed to the hospital and they said he was gone,I just saw his body turn blue,a giant of a man,very healthy just gone like that,I still ask God why,I feel lonely evey single day,what am I supposed to do with this feelings now,I miss him so much and we had a whole future together, we planned to get married,have kids he wanted kids so bad,and now I have this empty hole in my heart,what to do is still questionable!

I too lost my husband unexpectedly
He got off a plane a died of a pulimary embolism
It's been longer for me than you--2 years the 3rd
I cry every day and feel lost
I wish I could tell you it gets easier..for me the grief doesn't change--I just carry it more easily

Allow yourself time to grieve it has been 10 months for me and i think i may be able to do some stuff now..mainly being alone. I want to rediscover who i am..I am not sure what there is for me out there now..sometimes i feel hopeless...i picture myself in a dingy place...where i go to work and come home and sit...so am fighting that thought and it isn't easy..but there comes a time where i have to move out on my own and face this life ..take a chance and see one never knows maybe i will like my place..alone. 36 years later..(( Hugs))

Hi Sarah.......I feel your pain. My husband passed as we were sleep. Didn't understand how I didn't feel him leaving the bed and died in the bathroom. As K stated share your feelings. We all understand and share your feelings. Some days are good and some are bad. I come to the conclusion that is probably how it is going to be. God loves you and will never leave. Wishing you the best.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My husband died suddenly during the night and it's been almost 3 months. I still keep thinking he's going to walk through the door again. In the meantime, I'm seeing a therapist, meditating, organizing paperwork and taking it one day at a time. It's up and down for me like a roller-coaster. I tried to revive my husband with CPR and saw him die too, I even climbed in the bed with him at the hospital to hold him one last time. I pray constantly and ask for strength to make it through each day. Please take care of yourself and try to get some rest and eat well....something I've not been able to do. Most of all you're not alone.

I am so sorry for your loss. The pain is something you can't even imagine until you experience it, and I'm sorry you have to. Hugs and love and strength to you.
