Paula
You kept going despite the pain.
I looked at my beloved wifes photos, that I have on my computer. She is smiling in all of them. Her photos are wonderful to look at. She is so beautiful. Her smile melts my heart. I feel love and remember her loving me. It helps me make it through.
I am glad you made it through. AND that you were able to share some time with your daughters. It is always wonderful to share love with our family. I know it is for me. Most of them are either in HEAVEN or out of State. Most of my relatives have completed their journey HOME and are living in their mansions in HEAVEN on high!
I told myself today. Pull it together, you BIG BEAR! I laughed at myself at one point while I was sobbing. I thought goodness gracious. What a sight I must be. A grown man of Faith who already KNOWS where my beloved wife is. In HEAVEN. I thought... STEP away from the grief...I laughed at me again!
I pulled it together in a BIG wayThe fog lifted and then I realized One fine day. I will join my beloved wife and all of my relatives with our Creator, God in HEAVENLY places in glory. That is a Blessed HOPE that I hold onto in Faith.
In the nutshell:
On this Fathers Day holiday I am here on earth learning more about loves embrace. I have always given myself over to the work of following LOVES embrace.
I thought....what better way to finish this race on earth before my glorious departure Home to HEAVEN, than to gain an even deeper understanding about Life. AND in essence become acquainted with LOVE in a way that I did not know I would be called to experience.
Genuinely,
BEAR
I found that for the first 8-9 months lots of reminders, pictures or thoughts about things that my husband and I did or where we went always brought tears.....now at 13 months lots of those same things bring me smiles and laughter, as I was so lucky to have those times with him and will cherish them forever.........hugs
Be SO VERY VERY PROUD of that! In the morning for me many times I didn't think I WOULD make it through the day, but at the end I knew I survived. YOU DID TOO!
However we have to get by, as long as we do, and wake up the next day? We are MAKING IT.
HUGS of congrats! And SO GLAD you made it! Diane
