This time of year is especially painful and relentless.
I will send you a short private message, rather than say one thing in forum. private messages do not require either the sender, or the recipient to add each other to friend contacts list in order to be exchanged.
All my best to you,
Barb.
the only thing that helps is to keep yourself occupied. try to put your mind on something else. I too still cry for her almost every day.
I often find myself hiding in the men's room with my face buried in my hands, trying to be silent if anyone comes in. I am so lost without her. As I know all of your are without the one you were going to spend your final days with.
The only thing I can say is that I was truly blessed to have been her husband. I feel honored to be the one she loved.
Even though she was the strong one, she could do everything, she was my rock and It hurts so much everyday without her but I am thankful that I am going though this pain instead of her,
I would not want this for her, so I am resolved and know that I must find the strength to somehow continue on, because that is what she would have wanted.
Bless you ladies one and all you really are so much more than us men! I know that If I can continue on, so can you. I know it hurts and you feel so alone, I know its a struggle, and friends are not much help. But look inside yourself, go out and meet new friends, go to meetups, and experience things you both wanted to do.
Life really is so short. Live it.
