Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I wish I could say something that would ease your pain just the smallest bit, but I can only tell you that you are not alone. Your husband was ill, and he was your main focus for so long. Now try to focus on yourself and what you need to do (or not do) to get through this; take care of YOU.
There are some really wonderful, caring people in this group who will help in any way they can.

With care,

I am so very sorry for your loss. As everyone has said, this is the most difficult thing we have had to face, but we are all in it together.
I lost my loving husband in February '09 after 37 years of marriage and his passing was very sudden, no warnings. The shock of it is still with me today, so the most I can offer is to please give yourself time.
Just know that we are all feeling your pain and we extend our friendship to you. Love & many Prayers....Mo
I wish your circumstances were 360 degrees different.
Certain everyone of us, including me can identify with your pain.
We're a very supportive group. If you can try to seek support with your family and friends too. If there's a way I can be too, feel free to let me know. For the record I lost Jerry from acute myeloid leukemia11/08. He was sick from 02/08, chemo 05/08/10/08
My heartfelt prayers are definitely with you
God bless you....
I'm sorry for your loss, but welcome you to a place you can draw comfort from. Sharon
Take care of yourself you are in my thoughts and prayers.
