I'm sorry I 've read so many of your posts and so many of you are so new to this journey, and here I am at 9 plus and still a mess! Blessings to all!

No matter how many days, months, or years go by, there will still be a void in your life. Hugs and prayers!

There is no rulebook and everyone is different. With time we find our way, one day at a time. The pain and crying will begin to ease. We will never "get over it" but it becomes more manageable. Our lives have changed forever but we begin to find little joys in family friends, etc. We are stronger than we think and can do this together. Take care, Sandra

A widow of 2 yrs near me told me she journals when she feels she is not feeling good about her situation, she felt putting it on paper esp her anger at her husband for leaving suddenly (he had massive heart attack too w/o any warnings) trying to keep their business going, figure out how to make it financially, all of it. Maybe if you start putting your thoughts out it will help some. I learnt that in my Conflict Mgmt training: if you allow the thoughts you are thinking to be said out it helps and it seemed to. I think I will try

It is true that our lives have changed forever. We will never have what we had. The only thing we can do is look around for what is left for us to build our lives around. I started with God and grew closer through prayer. My church family and kids/grands have been a great help, too. But at the end of the day, we come home alone. My pets really help me feel like someone cares!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
