To the men on this site, please don't think I am directing anything in this against men...please don't take offense.
I am such a ninny about being single. It is like high school with senior citizens running up and down the halls.
I am guessing the statistics are maybe 25 women to every man (maybe more)..I feel like I must be on guard if I even speak to a man who is married or who has someone.
My husband and I trusted each other so much there was never any insecurity about either of us talking to anyone...my neighbor (who always talked to my husband and myself) is single, but now I feel I cannot even talk to him because his (girlfriend) might get upset....me, a threat?...(oh please!!) But he, on the other hand loves any attention he can get from as many women as possible....
At the senior center ...if there is a single man, always a group of women around him, hanging on every word....Oh brother....
Don't these people see the pain we are in? Thinking about getting involved with someone is not even in my scope of thinking....
Is this part of the grief process? Another stage of healing? Can a person act like this if they become soooo lonley?
Or just part of being single? Makes me want to go live in a cave.

For the record, I have all my teeth, and they're in my mouth, not a jar.
Honestly, I don't have the energy or inclination to steal your man....I had a great man......he's gone.....May his spirit rest in peace and unless you're ready to keep up with my crazy life.....you may want to back off!!!!
I'm self sufficient, unafraid, independent, cynical as hell, have a huge Black Lab and a bad back.....I've lived a good, long life; had an amazing husband, three kids and I'm still working a full-time job. I'm a really good catch, PLUS; I've got great legs, green eyes, teeth, hair and can swear like a truck driver......Any takers?
If I see women swarming around a man....I treat them like bees......I run in the opposite direction!!!
If someone doesn't want to talk to me because they feel threatened, be it man or woman.....PLEASE, pass me by!!!!

Eric, your mouth is the very best place to have teeth!!
I have truly enjoyed the laughter today....needed it and happy that we are "well enough" to chuckle and laugh.
Husband had top dentures that stayed anywhere besides his mouth, you don't know how many times I dug them out of trash, crawled under his bed to get them. In fact I couldn't find them for his funeral. Never have... must have been left at hospital...
So sorry hubby had to be buried without his tops. :( I'd be pissed! LOL
