I am glad that you stuck it out and held your head high....even if you were not feeling it.
Wonder if the snow has anything to do with the mood that you were in as I have been feeling kind of down and it has been snowing here also???
Wishing you some peace in the days ahead......hugs
i like what you said at the end.
"I stuck my chin out and kept eating". That was inspirational!!
You know, when I go to meet everyone in Vegas it will be my first time since being there with Greg which was my first time ever. I KNOW I will have many mixed emotions and KNOW at some point or at many of them I will cry, at the thought that this was 'supposed" to be our honeymoon trip that never happened. So I understand everything yu were feeling. I am feeling all of that too.
Being with the wonderful f riends her will help and you did it by YOURSELF. You are one very tough lady and one I admire.
so I, when the going gets really tough, whether it be a trip, or anything I have to do or think over what has already been done?
I'll think of you, and 'stick my chin out and eat" and BE PROUD!
I hope you are. I KNOW Roger is!
HUGS to you and thanks for posting!

My own mother told my friend---she thought it was "strange" that I talked about Stan so much---That really pissed me off. My mom is a widow, we talk about Dad and it's been 14 years---and SHE doesn't get it. Makes you shake your head and say----really???
There's support here, big hugs, Sal
Hugs!
