I know exactly how you feel I lost my wife of 30 years she was my everything. She died a little over a month ago from glioblastoma. I have some days I'm in such a fog and I can't believe this has happened to us. I have this emptiness feeling a lot. I've been reading a lot on this web sight. We all have so much in common. I try to live one day at a time and some time a moment at a time. I pray for strength and courage to face each day. I will pray for you.

I lost my husband,yesterday 5 months ago .......

I have no comforting words as I know exactly how you feel, I cried last night as I have not done in the 5 months since my husband passed. Suddenly it was too much, I can't do this alone, I can't even comprehend what lies in my future without him, I actually made myself sick I think, got antibiotics from the doctor today, feeling trampled and broken. There is no easy fix, or easy way to work this through, we have to keep going, one mm at a time, until the storm clouds become lighter and the sun comes through, somewhere in this alone future that waits. I tried getting back to my faith, sooooo difficult, can't even get comfort there. I will however keep you in my thoughts. Hugs and strength

I lost my husband 6 weeks ago. we knew he was dying but still I wasn't prepared to lose him. I don't think I would ever have been ready. he was diagnosed with v tach 2 years ago, then he was on dialysis for 11 months. the doctors didn't think he would be able to tolerate dialysis because of his heart. while I grieve his loss I am thankful for the time God gave us.

When I lost my husband 23 months ago today I didn't want to live. But each day I woke up. I was so afraid of the pain. I started each day reading from a book "Healing after Loss" by Martha W Hickman and from a devotional. I stayed as busy as possible to avoid dealing with the pain. After some months I slowly began to deal with it. I just went day by day and did a lot of deep breathing to get through some very tough moments. And I cried most days driving to and from work and even getting ready each morning. I tried to eat well and exercise. I still miss my husband every single moment but I'm living my life. Not as happily as I once did but as well as I can. One day at a time. Pray for peace and strength. The Lord will carry you through when you cannot walk on your own. Marybeth

So sorry for your loss, many of your feelings, I feel. I lost my husband of 39 years almost 6 months ago. I don't know how to live without him. He is my best friend. No one in my family can even begin to take away the pain. They don't understand. My sister the other day told me I should date again. I can't see that ever happening. She means well. I have not taken off my wedding ring, I think that would make it final. We just got to get up everyday and go on. I pray for peace for you. God Bless.

I lost my wife 7 months ago to breast cancer. I know how you feel. Your not alone, we have been in the same place. I am just starting to have a few more goods day. God does help us in his own way and time. This you have to believe. He has touched all of us in his way. You will start to feel a bit better in your own time. My prayers are with you.

Pls. bite down, and keep going! Take it a day at a time, hour at a time if need be! Seems like a stretch managing the pain at the moment, but flowing with it after a while you will notice a degree of tolerance for it. It differs for everyone, but you will adjust or get used to the pain. Your being has no choice but to cope. Just give it a chance! I was in absolute physical, emotional and spiritual agony for months after my wife's passing, and had the same state of mind as you then. I wanted to give up, just let the deterioration take it's course. Only because I allowed myself to stay and focus on that part of my conscious mind. Try thinking of how your wife would want you to come out of this.....I am sure she would want you to weather this storm and live a full, productive life in her honor. But this is just suggesting what had worked for me, knowing how my wife always only wants what's best for my well being . Your beloved surely wants the same for you. Keep trying to fight on.... it's only futile if you decide so...

Everything you said is how I feel today. The only thing I can actually say is that because you are writing in this post, you can still find help....not with the passing of your loved one...but with someone who understands that hopeless feeling you have because I have it. I was reading your post and actually said.....hey, that's I how feel everyday but i thought I was all alone by myself. And yes, we all feel that hopelessness that perhaps God made a mistake taking that loved one away. I have to be honest, I am a believer and I think eventually God will take this pain away.....may not feel like it will go away today, but eventually it will because that is how life goes....but I do feel for you....I am in the same boat and I just hope and pray that you do not get to overwhelmed and please come back to this post as much as you need to....they have really helped me.

I feel exactly the same way ... I miss him like crazy ... the pain is overwhelming.
