Sorry for your loss

We all are lucky. It is what it is. Somehow we have to come to terms with that. They were taken from us for a reason. Maybe their job was done here and they were needed elsewhere. I don't have a F'ING clue why. It makes no sense to any of us. All we can do is hope we are reunited with them when our job here is done. Than perhaps we will know.

Me too. This is my first post. Lost my husband of 33 years suddenly of a heart attack February 11th. I am lost and do not seem to see the point in anything. I try to put on a brave face and tell everyone I am okay, but I go home and cry, and lay in the couch. I miss him so much and do not want to live. I have to because of our daughter and Grandaughters. If they were not here I would check out. I have to work but wish I could just lay here forever. I feel like 30 years of my life have just
Been taken away from me. I want to die ( don't worry I will not do it) I pray he will come and get me everyday. I have not had one moment of joy since he left. He was 52. Thanks for listening.

I know ( Hugs) there will be a light that will get through the cracks of our souls. I find small things to do like watch birds fly..or listen to children laugh :) and eventually it gets easier to smile some times. Take care and know your not alone in these feelings. Even though you may feel that way we are all here feeling it too.

I feel the same and I'm trying so hard. I'm glad for this group. Just know that we're all in this together.

Same here, its been just a year since I lost my husband, it's difficult to imagine the rest of my life without him, we were married 34 years, he was my soulmate, my best friend and life seems so empty without him. I miss him just as much now after a year, as I did the 1st day after his death, all I can do is just look forward to when I see him again, life just doesn't seem to have much purpose without him to share it with. My faith in God keeps me calm and gives me mental stability and hope, but the deep sadness inside that comes from missing him is always there and although I can still function and do what I have to do, nothing fills that void. I try to keep my mind occupied, read watch TV, spend time on the internet etc. but I don't have any motivation to go anywhere as doing things without him is just not the same, it feels like half of me is missing. :-(
