I lost my husband, dog, and cat within a month. A cat adopted me about a year ago. Her name is Pretty Girl and she helped me more than she knows.
Today I went to a no kill shelter and adopted a little dog. I think she's part wire terrier and ??? She's probably 7 lbs. soaking wet. She likes to snuggle and lays her body completely flat against mine and hugs my neck while I'm holding her. She has adorable thunder thighs for her size. Today was our first day together and some how she pulled out of the dirty laundry two pairs of under ware and a black comfy shirt. I think I'll be busy with this one for a while till she's trained. She was given up because she was un-wanted. So sad. But she's mine now! Any way I haven't named her yet and would love some suggestions. Hugs, Kim
