Hi all, I just wanted to check in with you and let you know I'm ok. I started back to work around 6 weeks ago, and it exhaust's me. I'm thinking about looking into disability. I'm a lot less angry now, but so lonely. God watches over me and gives me the strength I need to carry on. It's been wonderful to see my residents again! I didn't realize how much I missed them, and I'm enjoying getting to know the new residents. So many hugs! I gave some of Don's clothes to one of his favorite residents, who is glad to have them and remember Don. Another one would like some too. That makes me happy and sad. I still can't sleep well but this too shall pass. I hope! Please tell me how you are doing as I love hearing from you all. Hugs and love, Kim

There's is no secret time on when everything will feel "normal", or close to it again.
It's a very personal thing, as I'm learning. I used to get envious of the folks who could move out of their grief within months and would be judgmental of some who were still grieving after many years.
Now, that it's me doing the grieving I realize it's different, unique and as individual as our fingerprints.
Most importantly, be kind to yourself and let it all be as organic as it can be, no matter how long the time.
Warmly,
Roz
When I returned to work I knew that I wanted to leave. Many advised me to stay, but I knew what was best for me and I followed my own plan. Do what you think is the right answer for you. Sharon
