I still wear his t-shirts at home and to bed. I wear his button up shirts to keep me warm when I go out. I don't think anything is weird, and if anyone else does, that's just too bad for them.
I just got a new cell phone and uploaded all the old pics & videos from our old ones onto the new. Watching the vids of him is tough. Videos look much better on the new cell. We laughed So Much. all the time.
I miss that with him.

After my husband passed, I could not even attempt to fall asleep unless I sprayed some of his cologne in the air . He did not wear it often , this was one for special occasions and it smell so good on him. "Antonio Banderas " was the brand. Then eventually it would be less often . It will be 5 years this month since my husband passed and that bottle still sits on his night stand and while it is not often anymore , every once in a while I spray it in the room.

I still have his flannel robe that I have used for my own since . Actually wearing to keep warn right now.

From some of his clothing I made some blankets (have yet to get mine done). One day while I was having a melt down my then 20 year grabbed her blanket and wrapped it around me. It brought comfort . You have to do what you have to do for yourself in order to survive this trauma in your life. You definitely are not weird, you simply are broken right now... .

Since my husband died in August I have slept on his side of the bed. I sleep with the Pj bottoms and t. Shirt that he wore the morning he died. I don’t think anything that gives us comfort is weird. Spray her perfume for as long as you need to. I know I love to open my husbands wardrobe and smell his aftershave from his clothes. I don’t think I will ever being able to part with them.

I used to smell his scent on the clothes in our closet until one day it faded and I could smell it no more…that’s when I emptied it, all at once ...real fast.

The Hospice counselor suggested I take one of my wife's clothes that really has her smell and seal it in a bag. I did this and when I need it I open the bag and for a moment she is there again.
