Yes, we miss them each and everyday and it sounds like you made this day special. Know he is there with you and watching over you to help you through each day.......wishing you some peace.....hugs
I really do think that after we lose them in the body, something happens and they BECOME even more of a part of us than when they were here in the physical, so YES they grow WITH US now.
Happy 67 charlie, knowing that your love here is keeping your legacy alive and well inside her heart
HUGS Diane
It still looked like a long evening ahead and then some friends called to ask if I would go to supper with them to celebrate Charlie's birthday. It was hard, even went to a place Charlie loved, but they saved me and I'm sure it made Charlie happy.
Looking for a better day tomorrow.
Julie
Happy 67th birthday to Charlie. You did a great job of honoring his day. That's pretty normal to find sadness in the day, I know I do when we have our family dinner get together for Stan's day of birth, but we do remember the specialness of him and our love for him and the deep missing of him----but you DID get up and go with friends to honor his birthday----way to go-----
This life we're in now---it's tough and deeply sad----but we're doing the best we can do----
peace and hugs,
Sallie
