Hi everyone. I just found this site and joined last night. I'm newly widowed a little over 2 months ago. My husband of a few days short of 33 years died April 19, 2010 of pancreatic cancer. I was his sole caretaker, allowing him to remain at home during his illness.
I have a huge hole in my heart after losing my best friend, soulmate, lover and father of my 2 sons. I'm slowly healing, and trying to go on.
It was so great to find this site, to be able to relate to people who understand what it is like to lose a loved one.

Sorry for your loss. I am very new to this site as well but already know there are a lot of good people here. Don't be shy about saying what you need to say, from what I have been reading here everybody understands.

I'm overwhelmed by the support given to me already by you folks. Thankyou so much for taking the time to enter a reply, for all of your words of support and kindness. I am so sorry for your loss. I am very new to this site, too. I lost my husband on Jan. 10, 2010-I just found this site by doing a Google search. This year would have been our 30th Wedding Anniv. and I miss him so much. Reading everyone's comments and thoughts have helped me alot already, though. It is "nice" to see that there are people who know how I am feeling.
Welcome and I look forward to getting to know everyone.
