Ok, on the light side, today as I have been taking down the tree and listening to Elton John's greatest hits, it suddenly struck me that I don't know if Stan liked Elton John. I have always wondered if he liked Neil Diamond, the Beatles, and Chicago - all favorites with me. We were married for 15 years and he was always surprising me with his taste in music. We did like a lot of the same stuff, but there times when I would play something that he definitely did not like, and would make fun of or tease me about it. Then there were the ones that I wondered about... are there any of you who have some little question like mine which you always wondered about, wanted to ask your spouse/partner but somehow just never did? Guess he will always be something of a mystery to me! laurabp

Your post got me thinking and I haven't come up with anything yet. I never really thought about it. I am sure there are things I don't know but we grew up together and were with each other 24/7 for many years. He had a limited taste in music so I probably know all his likes and dislikes there. My favorite hands down is The Beatles and he never particularly cared for them. But the last month or so, he often wanted me to sing "All My Loving" to him. I thought this strange because the song wasn't meaningful in our relationship or one I had even really remembered him ever listening to. It has definitely become my favorite Beatles song now and evokes way too much emotion when I hear it. But I do wonder why he chose that song? Did he choose it because he knew it was by my favorite group? Was he trying to comfort me with it? Or did he really just suddenly decide he liked it? We hadn't heard it the day he started wanting it sang. It just popped into his head for some reason and I wondered even that first time, why that song? I guess that will always remain my mystery.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
