Well, today is Mardi Gras here in New Orleans. My daughter just left, she is paraded out, so she's headed for the gulf coast, to let the kids play on the beach. It's still a little cool for that.

For people that don't know, today is a holiday. All the stores are closed, if you try and go somewhere, you run into traffic. My husband and I would usually take a drive to the coast, or out to the country to get away for the day. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet. I'm off tomorrow too, so I have to make myselft do something.

All the local channels have coverage of the parades, and all the people out having fun. We used to do that years ago, when the kids where teenagers. We would rent a room downtown, and walk in the french quarter and people watch. It was so much fun. Got alot of great pics. Maybe I'll download some later.

Well, wherever you are, have a great day. I pray all the parades go well, with no violence.
