Thank you for your support and encouragement during these last ten months since my husband passed away.He was my second husband, my second chance at happiness. We were together 36 years. One night, one of many, when I couldn't sleep and thought I was going insane, I got on the computer and typed in christian widows and Daily Strength came up. I stayed on all day and sometimes all night, mostly reading and growing stronger through the topics and comments. Please know that I give credit to the Lord first, because I have grown closer reading my devotionals and bible everyday and praying on His promises to us, but this site has also meant so much to me. I am stronger, more confident and I don't post everyday. That is a sign of progress. Today, I went to Home Depot to buy another kitchen faucet. I had the plumber fix that and my sum pump. While there, I walk through the gardening department. My husband loved his yard. It was his baby. I hated the outside, but had a lot of plants inside. So, I bought some plants and other things for the outside. I was talking to my husband because I felt he was laughing at me. All the years when he was in the yard, I never helped him. So I am determined to make his yard beautiful. I never thought I would come this far, but I am so grateful for all your help in getting me to this point. I am still grieving. I still cry, but I see a new me and at almost 75 years old, I am excited.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I am hoping that I can find my way to that point as I travel this difficult path. I, too, credit my acquaintances here on DS with getting me this far!
