Well yesterday my neighbor came over and yelled at me again. BIG TIME
GOT called a liar, b&^%$ and plugged my ears on a few.
At one point my hair raised up, I ran back to door, he followed, I slammed door in face, and he pounded for awhile.
My other neighbor I called to come down to get him to leave (he was gone right away luckily) and we called sheriff. Sheriff did not want to ignite things anymore. SO my address/phone is on a red tag sorta thing, once I call 911 they are out here, I have a 22 little handgun ready, can of spray, and did not sleep last night real well.
When I see him nearby I leave to go in house.
Why was he so mad?
With the water flooding situation I was trying to get him to compromise: help buy pipe and pipe ditch that is flooding my pasture and hay storage; and/or turn off ditch once his large pond if full for a few days let the ground absorb excess turn on, turn off until high water flood from river is down. Altho' several agencies have said his pond/ditch situation contributes 50% of the problem I was a liar.
2) very poed about me calling Bureau of Reclamation (to show me how to ready water flow gauge I report each day), Conservation District to tell me what is contributing to flood issue for sure, and how can I help keep it at bay, Fish and Game Dept. to show me how to clean the fish screen, and walk the full ditch to see how it flows, Dept of Ecology as they have the legal water rights to my place (I do not show them in any of my paper work on my place and will need them for resale anyway), and come to find out this guy is anti govt agencies, plus he has been over using his water rights a lot....
Luckily its up to DOE to issue their warning, fines or whatever not me......I did not report him nor did I know our flow was too much
BUT long story short my intuition said danger - so I am to stay away from him, OH joy just what I need is this grouchy neighbor ....
I told my kids well if you find me murder look to Bill...I do laugh but its truly not funny and does not solve the issue...
I truly believe he is pushing me around because he did not act this way when Roger was alive. BUT pump is fixed and up and running for now.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

you are one TOUGH COOKI and one I am in AWE of!!! You keep up that hootspa!!! You are some kind of woman and Roger is so PROUD of you!!
Glad the pump is fixed and working, and hope you never have to deal with this guy again. you are right, I'd stay away form people like that as much as possible. As mad as he is he now KNOWS he is dealing with a VERY SMART woman!!! YOU!!!

He is going to contact Dept of Ecology for me to get interpretations from them. Than with the water master on the 21st we will all met.
Meantime water height is subsiding and I have taken photos as advised with written report as sheriff advised. Documentation is my key to anything that may go wrong.
Hopefully I will be able to pipe this section sometime this water season or before next or SELL THIS PLACE, and than kick this guy completely off my property forever.
I am doing what was advised: no contact with him at any time NOW. Avoid him, walk away, etc. DO not answer door, call if needed, I keep my phone with him down at horse arena etc...
AND I have a way to get away from him while down there also.
CAN not believe this is happening, this is too unreal, but I do not want to be on Unsolved murders....
Thanks guys for all your support. I am certain as neighbors confirm he does not push men around but he figures me alone he can. And as these agencies have confirmed he has not dealt well with any of them - they simply state to me yeah we know him well....and raise their eyebrows....and several have stated to me to have him contact them and let them deal with him not me.

Sometimes you can scare bullies off by saying that you'll have your lawyer contact them. I've used this a few times to great effect. Nobody wants to be sued as lawyers are even scarier than husbands.
Your gut tells you to be careful, and you sure should. People get killed every day by unstable people. I'm glad to hear you're taking all these precautions. He is abusing you because he thinks he can. Your showing him you can stand up to him shows him that he is a wimp underneath the balled up fists. You are stronger than he is! Be safe! Thanks for letting us know abou this.
You are doing the right things, especially letting the authorities know about all of this.
