This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
This will be my last post in that I think it is time that I move on and before doing so I wanted to thank you all for your support and friendship when I needed it most. There are no words to tell you how you all have enriched my life and provided me with me with the tools that I needed to get through the most difficult time in my life.
Through the 9 months I have found a strength inside me that I did not know I possessed. I have evolved into the women that Michael always proclaimed me to be. I am happy.
My wish for all of you is that you find peace and all live a life that is full of joy and beauty. Each and every one of you will be remembered. And to you dear Scottish, I will always remember when you filled my arms with heather.

My mom passed away on June 18th. I was her cargiver and only child. Although she was 89 years young and it was "expected" I don't know how to BREATHE without her. I stay busy throughout the day but I can only do that so long until I burn out! I'm all alone now and don't know what I'm going to do!! I can only fake it for so long. I'm TIRED of losing my people!!!!

I will miss you very much and you have been such as support to me. I am working on building a stong new relationship and I am very happy with the new man in my life. Building a new relationship is hard but worth the effort. My grandmother always said, "What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger." Grandma was right.
I will let everyone know how I am doing for I am nothing but excited for what the future will hold.

I have not been on the site as much as I was and I also felt I had moved on. Then as a lot of us know I had a recent set back.
Now I am so grateful to have DS to help me through this.
