You put into words my feelings. My husband died on 11th. Although he had been ill for a long time and so weak and in pain I on one level have to accept he is better off than he was grief and selfishness don't stop me wanting this to just be a bad dream and him still to be here. 45 years we were together and I just feel so lonley. Having said that I have decided to try and stay positive and try to keep busy. This morning I am going to paint what was his dialysis room in a beautiful warm colour and take my favourite photo to a local shop to have it put on to canvas. When I have done I will use the room as a sewing room and it will be a special place just for me to enjoy, bright, warm and comfortable, where I can enjoy my hobby and feel close to him. Try and find some way of doing something just for you that will help you feel secure and know others who share you grief send you love and support
