I just did my taxes. I clicked the widow button and everything. I thought it would really mess me up so had help lined up. But I just kinda did it on a whim. It wasn't hard. I just realized after the fact what I did. Wow.

Good job! You got this girl. And so you know, I owe you big time because I need to file an extension but almost forgot. So thanks. So I'm being Mr. Procrastination as usual, just kicking the can down the road for as long as I can. I've got no health insurance and undoubtedly will get hit with a hefty penalty under the "Affordable Care Act". For me, a $600/mo premium did not seem "affordable" to me, but hey, I don't write the laws. as usual. Thanks again for the reminder. Whew!~~~ Scottie

Taxes done last week and out in the mail. First year filing as single ... Don't feel "single."
Yes, a reminder to all to file your taxes or get an extension. Don't need additional "grief" dealing with the IRS or a franchise tax board.

Scottio, I'm glad I reminded you!

It's a huge weight off my mind to have it done. I've been having issues with the insurance company so I just needed to beat bureaucracy for once. So I did my f-ing taxes. Lol.

How did we go from laughing to the awful T word. Can't be avoided. Linda normally dealt with these folks. Had a better head for finance than me. Maybe they will take pity on me. What am I saying this is the IRS.

It could be worse. I'm Canadian and CRA has an amazing talent for making things difficult and confusing. I couldn't even understand half their instructions. They seem to have been written by a trained platypus. Fortunately their computer program understood them.

Now it makes sense. That's what rights the instructions on this stuff.

Grateful I own my home. Grateful for good friends and neighbors who watch over me. Grateful to God for His everlasting love and patience with me.
