I've seen a few get togethers posted on this site since I became a member. Is there one for every area?

Hi actually the first one was 2 of our own in Baltimore in 2009. Then we had a Philly one in March and So Cal had one in April. We're having another in Philly in June. Think those are the pioneers :)

I am planning another one in So Cal for June as well. Many members don't list the areas they live in so we just have to rely on a general posting. You can always post an inquiry for your general area and see who might be interested.

As you can see, they're all strictly ad hoc - somebody decides to host a get-together and people who are able to attend will go. You can go to anything that you can get to or set one up yourself, as Linda suggested. It wouldn't take a lot of legwork; you'd just have to get a place and make reservations, if you wanted a restaurant, or you could even meet at a park or something like that and have a picnic. I was with a group of second wives once and we went to a wine festival!

I think if you are able to arrange one it would be great. I truly enjoyed our SoCal meeting..wish I could join the Philly folks too !!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
