I contacted a psychic. For those who are offended by that, quit reading right now because it was an amazing experience. Dan talked about a new cologne I'd purchased, a speech I had to give that night, a plant of his that he cherished and I am on the verge of killing. He knew what I was wearing, what kind of pillow I was sitting on and what his urn looked like. I kept looking around for the hidden camera. It was amazing. He said he's with me all the time, trying to comfort me. He said Dont' be sad". Most important, he is happy where he is ( tho I immediately thought how can u be happy there without me???!!) There was so much more. I know some believe that contacting a psychic is just a coping mechanism. I have felt that too sometimes. But THIS experience was so specific. I know he's with me.
But the thing that caught my attention was MIssinDG. Not the fact that you contacted a psychis, or that so many things were mentioned....but you are "on the verge of killing" his cherished plant. I'm sorry, it made me giggle. I have killed cactus and that is hard to do. The rubber tree plant from my husbands memorial is down to only four or five leaves (?). Sad but true.
I love this post....it's a happy one.
Thanks for the story. Yup! They may be physically gone, but they definitely have not left.
Hugs,
Terry
