Hi lively54. So sorry for your loss. Welcome to the club no one wants to join. Well first you do cry. Then you cry some more. This is very normal. What else is that you make sure to eat something. You make sure and drink plenty of water. Sleep when you feel like sleeping, even if it's middle of the day. Try to avoid big major decisions. Take good care of you. Come here to DS often and read the posts. It really will help.

I'm so sorry for your sudden loss. You are most probably still in a numb state. It takes a while to process the shock of your loss.
Moment by Moment, is all you can do. We are here to listen....please take care if yourself physically, grief takes its toll on us. Reading some of the older posts help you get some perspective on this roller coaster journey.
I'm 2 years on, life does change but joy is still very much a part it.

I don't know how many days I just sat, stared out the window and cried, and had to force myself from the chair to do the things that had to be done. So sorry. Take it all a day at a time. Let the tears flow. For me, I joined a support group so I could share and have the emotional support needed. It takes every bit of strength you can muster to move forward and live life again. It all comes in waves, good days, bad days. It is okay to hurt, to cry... The person you loved most in this world died. Be gentle with yourself. Much peace.
