Felling lost..Nd hopeless

Hello everyone...I'm new on this group.I recently lost my man of years in a very unexpected and traumatic way, we had so much plans that we wanted to do this year onwards.I'm a widow for three months now.I don't know how to move on nor to be happy on my own.I feel like the is a knife stucked in my heart because ever since there, I'm having a constant heartache..


I feel like people around me don't really understand what I'm feeling or going through  because they haven't been to this path..i believe that talking to people who are or have been in the same road as you will really help..I'm here to stay

Hi, Preddy. I am sorry for your loss. Welcome to our group. Yes, everyone here has lost their life partner and so there are lots of people here who can understand what you are going through. It's a lonely road but we walk it together.

Hello Preddy. I'm so sorry to have to welcome you to our group. I felt the same heartach myself for many months. My wife was taken from me by sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 53. She was sitting at the kitchen table with a glass of wine one moment and gone the next. That pain in your chest is normal. However you should go to a doctor just to confirm that's what it is.....a broken heart. Just please have it checked. The broken heart will heal itself somewhat over time but will never be what it was. Your profile says you are 23 if memory serves. For me it's very hard to give any advice that may be helpful without knowing how your husband died so young. Was he sick,accident?

I'm so very sorry for your loss. There are many good people here who will help you. I'm sorry I just happened to be the first to see your post. Don't have much for you other than things do get better over time. No... time does not heal all wounds. They are always there. They just get more manageable. My best to you!

Welcome Preddy. I might tend to be a babbling fool at times, but I know my babbles are safe here. Somehow we all have a commonality and it is comforting to know that not a one of us is totally alone anymore. We all get it because there is only one way a person can understand what we are going through and that is by having gone through it themselves. Scottie

    Today I feel grateful. Grateful for my dog Blue (Blue Jean Baby Queen, Prettiest girl I've ever seen). Grateful I'm still kickin'. Grateful I'm finally taking responsibility for my health. Grateful I own my home. Grateful for good friends and neighbors who watch over me. Grateful to God for His everlasting love and patience with me. Grateful I survived the 10 years since my wife of 30 years...
