Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
It probably is good for us, both with and without our blanket. Sending you hope for a better tomorrow. Sharon
It will be 4 months on the 12th for me.
I lost my 20 year old son Johnny Ray 10 months ago and my Husband Tim 8 months ago but it still feels like yesterday.
I'm sorry to say but I don't think it's going to get easier any time soon. But at least we have all of these AMAZING people on this website!
Hugs to you.
Sue
I just hate it. I pray all the time for strength to get thru it.
Sometimes I don;t think i will make it.\
OMG! This is not good for you ~
If you are not doing this intentionally, you will need to seek help from a mental health specialist ~
It could possibly be a serious issue w/dissociation; it should never last that long !
Physically, eleven days of storing grief might start to cause nausea & headaches or worse stomach/intestinal issues ~
Seriously, you need to trigger your grief everyday or so to get the toxins out of your body ~
Everyone wants to be done w/grief & get on w/life, however, the only way is to go through the process to heal yourself ~
Take care of yourself ~
