I don't know why, I think I am just not ready yet.
It's been just over 10 months.

What they may have done was get ahold of his contact list. And then sent junk email to everyone on that list. Sucks, I know.
It's also to still get regular mail addressed to a loved one who has died. I still get medical suggestions from our insurance company even though my wife died a year ago.
It's part of our broken technology that systems are designed to send stuff automatically, but the guy ( girl ) who wrote them never worried about someone dying :)

If you change the password on your husband's account, the spam should eventually decrease. Sorry that happened. It is always disturbing.
In defense of technology, ;-) Bob, I'm sure you know that we can easily delete the names of people who have passed on by running the list against available records of deaths. It is the humans at the companies who choose not to spend the money for that kind of purge before mailing.
I am probably less sensitive because I work in the mailing industry, but I am kind of amused when the mail includes hearing aid offers to both my husband and my dad, who died in the 1990s and a magazine offer for my mom who died in 2004. They have all moved on to whatever is after this, but in this world, my home is still their home..

But, yeah, I closed off his many emails fairly early on. I didn't want anything highjacked or mail piling up and I knew I'd never be checking them.
What I can't do is empty his desk drawers!
