Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Try to eat at least one healthy, balanced meal a day, take a multivitamin with minerals, and drink a lot of water. Dehydration will sap your energy and make you feel even more tired than you actually are. Plus having the nutrients wiped out of your system along with the dehydration will add to the foggy thinking - "widda brain" as Marsha calls it.
It will get better, but in the meantime, you have to take a few steps to keep yourself physically strong to fight this emotional battle. Losing a spouse/partner hits you on every level of your life - emotional, physical, psychological, spiritual, and in every sphere of your life, so of course you are exhausted. You can get through this though, honest. Don't give up.

Martha
Stress can/does floods your body w/adrenalin &/or cortisol ~
Adrenalin & cortisol toxic hormones that need to be released ~
Exercising or any constant body motion will release them ~
Do it on a daily basis or throughout the day whenever you can as a process of itty bitty steps ~
Eventually you will be able to take the next step of using the techniqure to activate neurons ~
Also, good sleep will reset the brain ~
Believe me, I know it is extremely difficult when you're weighed down w/toxins to even get off the couch ~
Everything in baby steps ~
Also drink plenty of water; Smart Water & Gatorade have electrolytes to keep the body hydrated ~
Try to smile or laugh at least once per day, this also gets the good jucies flowing (neurons) ~
