Of course, I'm also an anxiety sleeper. Some people sleep less when anxious, but I sleep more when I'm anxious or worried about things. I guess that is a good thing.
So, I think you're reacting normally especially at four months.

I am not sure why I feel so tired, but I also know my sleep is not the best. I can be in bed for 8 hours, but actually only sleep for 5 of those hours in bed. I need to focus my attention elsewhere when I first get in bed, so I watch video's on the internet, I fall asleep, then I wake up often during the night. Then when I do get up in the morning I don't feel like getting up, no motivation, but I do get up.
Actually I needed this topic today. I needed to remind myself that my mental sadness is temporary and tomorrow is full of new hope. Sharon
And at times doing outdoor stuff - when I am feeling my loss and loneliness without him I have to slow myself down. I have often said there were times when my body even though I had done nothing was telling me to rest. I finally got it - those days I would get myself my comforter, my cocoa at times my Pina Colda or??? sit on my couch, cuddle with my dogs, tv or book and just sit. And the next day I felt better.
SO as was said here you are very normal. But take care to take that needed rest. Hugs
After I've had a good cry or sleep filled with dreams I'm just exhausted.
I aways knew I could do anything because I had my husbands love and support to get me through it.....now.....I'm alone, empty and tired beyond belief because he gone and nothing is right with the world.
I'm sorry for my dark words and mood...it's one of those days.
Sending gentle hugs and prayers for all of us as we work on our journey.
Blessings,
Sharon
That and when people are grieving they "forget" to eat healthy, to exercise, (it's hard to rest when your heart is broken), so yeah..to rest, and all around take care of ourselves. Stress also causes more health problems than anything else and stress levels are at an all time high. So physically, emotionally, mentally..grieving is so so hard on our bodies.
Yeah, (when we lose the love of our life), tired is an understatement...
hugs...

This site helps me so much.
I am at 5 months and only now in the last week or 2 do I have the energy to embark on more than the most basic tasks. For months I slept and did what I needed to do. Nothing more and nothing less.
I have often been told be gentle on yourself. When I need to sleep I sleep regardless of the time. Needless to say when a wave of grief overpowers you it is particularly tiring. Continue to nuture yourself on
this difficult journey. Gerald
