Do we ever meet face to face?-Martha and CL's?

I would love to meet some of the group in person, so we can exchange a real hug. Do we ever decide to meet at a location? I live in Houston, Texas, but would be agreeable to traveling to meet some of you. Martha and other CL's-----could you advise, please. THANKS!!

I'm willing too. I love Vegas. Matter of fact, I'm taking my 21 yr old grandson tomorrow. Florida sounds good too.

I would absolutely love a meeting . I am in pa but willing to fly to vegas , problem is I wont have vacation time till jamuary , but I love the idea. let me know.

I was just going to start a discussion about whether or not we can ask if there are any members from our state/area. Thank you for the tip cliffskat about searching members by state. I'm afraid I don't see the link to do that. Could you guide me please? Thank you.

How do you search for people in your state?

Under where it says the name of our group, you will see a bunch of headings in green, beginning with "Home" - okay? The third one in from the right hand side is "Members" - click on that and it brings up everyone that is a member of our group. On the right side of that screen you will see a box that says "Find a Member" - in that box you can specify city, state or country, age, gender.

It's also another reason I remind people to remember to join the group. If you haven't actuallyjoined the group, it is harder for people to find you. You can tell whether or not you are actually a member of this group if where it says "Widows and Widowers Support Group" it says "Join this Group" - it means you have not joined yet. If you are already a member, it will say "Edit Membership."
