My husband passed away on February 14, 2017. This has been the most painful, heart-wrenching thing I have ever experienced. A lot of strange things have been said to me since his death, but the hardest to hear is when divorced women tell me they wish their ex-husband had died because that would have been so much easier to deal with. Has anyone else dealt with this? If so, how do you respond? How do you sort out these statements in your head without feeling angry at that person?

I lost my second husband, father of my two beautiful children last year. The pain is still uncomparable to anything I had ever gone through. Divorce is one thing, but burying husband is surreal. Only worse thing I can think of is burying own child.
