I think I am about the same place as you. I realized the same thing a few weeks ago, Arnie would not want me to just exist, he would want me to LIVE !!! I am trying everyday to make it better.
I still have bad days as well but find I can often change my thinking to something more positive and if I can not then I let it out, then pick myself back up and continue on.
Not sure what all this means yet and what direction I am going to take but I do see some light as well.
I never thought I would make it to the place that I am today during those first 6 months but I am glad that I was wrong about that. I didn't like that place at all...........hugs

I think we need to adjust (we don't "move on" or "get over it") to our new lives, our spouses will always be a part of our lives. I can't think of a single spouse who has gone before us that would want to see us continue in deep pain and sorrow and sadness for the rest of our lives. Yes, it's hard to figure out our path and yes, the sadness and missing them and our love goes to the core of our beings, but the best we can do for their honor is to find a way to live the best life we can. Thanks for the encouraging post---big hugs, Sal
