I vacillate from okay~~ to miserable~~ to okay.
Meanwhile I continue to cover up by acting okay...........because few to zero people want to know how I really feel.
BTW, I'm 14 months

I hope I haven't made you more depressed than you are.

For me I will always have a gaping hole and have the pain of such a huge loss but now that space is filled with the wonderful cherished memories that bring me such comfort. It still has the pain but it is now wrapped in all the love and memories of our life together.
Gentle ((hugs)) of comfort sent your way.
:-) Patricia
I bet it has a lot to do with your upcoming wedding. I am only at 2 1/2 months, so I am only basing this on the reading I have done. I am still in the acute parts. I hope you are able to find some happy thoughts and enjoy your daughter's wedding. I plan on walking mine down the aisle. After all, I am now her mom and dad, I should get the honors....LOL>

I attended my neice's wedding recently. I was at five months then. The ENTIRE week before I cried myself to sleep every single night. I did get to the wedding, and I even enjoyed it. The promise of new life, and love. all that goes with the day. Then they played a song. It was our wedding song. I excused myself, and CRIED BUCKETS in the ladies room, and then put myself back together, and went back to the family.
We never know when it will hit or where. You will get through the wedding, with both happiness for them and sadness for what was. But you WILL get through it!!!
HUGS and hopes.....
