from a queen to twin - was hard but was the right thing to do. The room seems bigger and more me now. Had the hardest time sleeping last night though, but the sleep I did have was actually sounder than it's been in awhile so I guess it was the right decision. Score one for moving forward. Today was hard though, first b.day since he has been gone, *;30 this morning received a happy b.day text from my husband's brother - I thought that was so sweet, started my day off on a less lonley note and a good friend drove about 30 miles to take me out to dinner after work. Helped alot. Also, knowing you all were here, as always helps as well.
I have two twins [orthopedic beds] pushed together to make a king. Morey wanted beds that had the power to raise your head, feet and even massage you. They're amazing beds and will last for a lifetime.....Morey's bed outlived him!
My big dog Horton now sleeps on Morey's side and is great company for me.
It's really good that you're sleeping well. It will help you to heal.

Good on you for managing to get a new bed.
I'm 18 months on this journey and still have our broken bed - the wooden frame broke on his side and he did a temporary fix (stuck a piece of wood to hold it up) until we could get a new bed, he then fell ill and we never replaced the bed. I'm rather strange about it (it could completely collapse at any time) but after he died I had the carpet replaced with a wooden floor and I threaten to do serious damage to the floor guys if they could not put my bed back together as it was ... needless to say they thought I was rather strange to be so concerned about a broken bed!!)
Now if I could only find a really good pillow. Have tried so many different ones.
