I came home and turned on the living room light, and the bulb blew. It's a ceiling fan, so I just figured, it could wait, and opened the curtain.
I noticed later, that my coffee pot's clock wasn't on, and it was the outlet. I figured, now what, I'll have to get someone to look at that. I decided to go and pick up some things at Wal Mart.
That's when I found out, I must have tripped the breaker. My refrigerator wasn't working. That's why the coffee pot didn't work.
The thing is, I never have gone in the back yard, after dark, without someone else being with me. My husband died in the back yard. I cut the grass and go back there in the daylight, but just have a problem, I guess a fear to go there. I had my son put up a motion light when he was here for Thanksgiving. I'm so glad I did. I got the dogs to go with me, and I went and flipped the breaker.
I guess this was a milestone, it sure felt like one. I feel like such a wuss.. being afraid of my own back yard. I hope this helps the fear some.

Reading your post you said something that has been my thought exactly since my husband died. Losing him was the worst possible thing to happen and after that what could possibly scare me???? Not even death as then I would be with him again.
