This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
When you start thinking of these awful thoughts, if you know someone you can call and tell them, I need to get this off my chest, tell them the experience at the end of his life. It will make you feel better just to talk about it. But you need a good listener. I sent a link to Prashant on this site. Look for it and find the link I sent him. It's incredible to read it and understand your feelings and why it's so hard. I found talking about it helps me so much. I have written note and poems and words to help me. One is "Words of my husband". I don't ever want to forget the little things, like "Woman, coffee woman" as he'd say with a big smile. Anything you can think of write it or enter it on your computer.
I know our loss is tremendous and it's going to be hard. Just remember he loved you. He wants you to remember that. Now I am assuming you are talking about who, your hubby? Either way, the love is there, try to feel it. I wish you pleasant dreams!
I missed you......it's good to know you are as well as can be.
I found the approach to the 2 year of Ben's passing really really emotionally draining. I think those last days will surface now and again, even though, now, they have no hold on me.
I'm sorry you've been going through difficult times Letty,I just hope you are not working from Dawn until Dusk.....maybe it's time to give yourself a break from all the chores you have to do. Even a week of relaxation, to give yourself time to process your thoughts and pamper yourself a bit.
Take care Letty.....it's kinda good to hear from a friend from the old DS.... Pop in when you can.......love and hugs, Sandra
