My husband died just a few weeks ago. It was sudden and unexpected. Im experiencing all types of emotions, most contradict each other. When he passed we were not in a good place. We were about to separate and i was looking forward to being out of the dysfunctional relationship. With his passing i discovered proof of the lies and betrayals i had suspected. I feel so lost and confused. How do i greive and mourn a man who i once loved but at the end was mostly toxic? How am i to be a good widow if i was ready to be without him months ago? How do i honor his memory when he left me to discover his disgusting truth? All the love and great memories we once shared now seem to be washed away...

You are early in the process and still have tons of emotions that will overcome you. If you need to be mad then be mad, eventually you will move on. Just know you are not the only one in this boat.
Its hard to see/hear so manny ppl missing their best friend and love of their life. I feel as if i need to honor a false memory as many ppl didn't know this other side of him.
I've never been so conflicted before.
