Hi all. I am three years into this roller coaster ride and starting to see some light thanks to thi s site. Is anyone from NY or close to the city. I would love to talk and know their are others feeling the same. It seems like everyone is so far away. Hugs to all and take it one moment at a time. Ann

I live in Pittsburgh, and I wish someone lived close to me, too.
I've been trying to find a grief support group, but I haven't had any luck.
It would be so nice if we could all get together for coffee.

We can do that sometime. I met up with some in PA. I took amtrak to Philly overnight. My brother also lives in Hawley PA..not sure if that is near you.

I used to live in queens, NY, but moved to Florida.
We do seem to be all over the map.

I live in Brooklyn, down by Sheepshead Bay. If you live in NYC "proper", i.e., Manhattan, that probably sounds as far away as Fiji.

My wife of 48 years passed away about 8 months ago, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease with Dementia. My kids are scattered around, and I try to keep myself occupied with catching up with reading all the classics I should've read 40 years ago ... 8-)

"Roller coaster ride" and "one moment at a time" are apt descriptions of my life.
