Well, those of you who know me know I love a good laugh. And my husband was good at getting them from me. Tonight, as I was getting ready to shower I peeled down my tights and my jeans and had them bunched around my ankles and was getting ready to finish undressing - when the phine rang. Thinking it was my stepdaughter who had called earlier and left a message I hobbled and hopped my way down the hall to the phone in the living room. When I said "hello" a strange lady's voice said, "Oh, I must have the wrong number." She told me the number she had dialed and she had transposed 2 digits. She apologised and after I hung up I stood there and saw how ridiculous I looked and said, "Now, who would do this to me?" Then I burst out laughing. My husband would be delighted to play a trick like that on me on April Fools Day. I haven't stopped smiling yet! Did anyone else get a laugh from beyond?

I didn't get a laugh from beyond, but your post sure brought out a smile. Thank you for lightening my day. You can't imagine how I have often stumbled out of the shower to fetch a forgotten towel or robe. Sharon :)

no laughs came through for me- but I LOVE your story and how it showed that we always have the things our spouses shared with us. And even though some of those thoughts make us cry, they can also make us smile! You made me smile, thank you because smiles are hard to come by these days.

7 years ago on April 2nd....Tornado hit us, in our small town...we lost most everything we owned, fixed what we could...it was tragicc, many lives were lost....I have been working to fix it all since... it was tramatic to my dad, who lived with us. he died the next Feb....

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
