Among the many many shitty things about

losing your love, is the fact that you sometimes have to take care of his business affairs - overwhelming when you don't know thing one about business...


My husband died without a will, thus I had to file to become the voluntary administrator of his estate. Now, I have to have to file to have his business (LLC) transferred over to me....


I don't want to have to deal with this...


That's my rant for the day..

Kim I really feel for you. Its hard enough just dealing with simple daily things. Now you are faced with something you don't have knowledge of. Try to find good reliable people to mentor you. Other than that I don't have any advise. My husband was disabled and could not work for a long time so I did not have to deal with any business or job related issues. Still even simple things like getting the riding lawn mower to work became almost insurmountable problems. All I can say is that as time marches on things become a little easier to handle. The big stuff eventually gets ironed out and life gets a predictable rhythm to it and we somehow manage. Kim, I wish you well and pray for the strength you need during this awful time. ~~ Cheryl

I am still doing three years of taxes..my husband died without a will but i did that in July..now the taxes....lol

Kim, I am so sorry you have to deal with this on top of an already difficult situation. Like onebrokenheart, the only advice I can think of is to have good reliable people to mentor you.

My husband passed away in August of last year. Like you, without a will and I also had to have his business transferred over to me. Something I didn't want to, but had to do.
