Amazing Race had it's finale, Survivor had it's finale, America Idol is about to have it's finale..then there was Greys Anatomy, Private Pratice, Desperate Housewive's finalies and this Sunday Lost and Celebrity Apprentice ( thank goodness for TIVO ).
Russell is a total trip, you gotta love to hate him. He is an amazing player.

As it should be, Casey got voted off. Go Lee. He has a much better tone to his voice than Crystal but it has been several season since a woman won. That may be an infuence, hope not. Donna

I checked my updates too soon. Idol just started here a little while ago and they have announced who leaves yet. Unfortunately I now know :-(

Looks like Lee is going to win if you count Simon's vote as a sure thing! Did you see his face last night when Lee sang Halleluah? Either way, win or lose at this point, he has a great career ahead of him. Seems like a nice kid as well. Fingers crossed for next week.

Just watched Casey get voted off tonight :) I love both Lee and Crystal - but I hope Lee wins. Crystal will make it just fine without winning - like Adam. We watch the finale here in Botswana this Sunday - can't wait but what the hell am I going to do on Sunday evenings after that!!!! Man, I remember last year with Adam (I loved him) and how gobsmacked i was when he did not win!!!

Yes Adam Lambert was my favorite too. He just has so much charisma and such a great entertainer.

Yeah - I thought Adam Lambert had some great performances. I was surprised he didn't win but as my son said the other day - "I don't even remember who beat him". Remember Taylor Hicks? I was surprised he won. And who ever heard from him again after American Idol?

Am an NCIS fan so don't watch it, but hope he wins.............and who is JRS????

Oh yes, MG, I'm totally into Idol this year. It was our favorite show. Scott would always call to remind me to leave work on time so I would get home in time for Idol!! He'd have dinner ready. AI has surprisingly been a nice comfort to me. I loved the top 4, but I am routing for my hometown guy - Lee - all the way. I even voted!! (Never did that before).

Mt money was on Crystal in the beginning and I really liked Andrew Garcia, but he was a one song wonder. This season was pale compaired to the dynamic performances of Adam Lambert. He is a stunning performer and I too was surprised to see him lose against Chris. But the cream always rises to the top and Adam will experience far more fame than will Chris. Being a singer myself, I live vicariously through these kids. There is nothing like being on stage, singing your gift and having people appreciate what you have to give with their applause.
My money is now on Lee. There has not been one performance that has me wowed this season but Lee has come close and has stepped up his game to win this contest.
Hallelujah is one of my favorite songs. K D Lang does an exceptional performance of this song, mesmerizing in fact. You can view it on You Tube. Lee's Simple Man was sung from deep within his soul. His offering of Hallelujah was impressive.
I always hate when the season ends and I am left for weeks before the summer shows appear. I love the talent shows.
