Yeah, I'm an Idol fan and have been pulling for Lee since early on. I also like Casey and Crystal but I hope Lee wins. That is so cool that he is from your town. I graduated High School with Randy Jackson but I know he would not remember me from way back then. Good luck to your hometown guy! Robin

I am an Idol fan without a doubt. I actually write a blog each show to share with friends, a judging evaluation. Please cheer Lee for me when he has his Day Back Home. How exciting. It will be between he and Crystal and I am really thinking Lee will take it. None of them have given me the OMG Wow performance yet but Lee did a most exceptional job on the Sinatra song.
I sing for therapy and live vicariously through these contestants.
Doesn't hurt that Lee is just a little cutie either...

I watch an enormous amount of TV these days (nice distraction) and Americal Idol is one of my faves. I am also rooting for Lee. I live in Northwest Indiana, so having a contestant in the Chicago area is kind of like having my own hometown Idol. Have a great time at Lee DeWyze day - how exciting!

I have not been following as I have in past seasons but I hope your guy wins. I have been following Survivor. At least once a week I have a distraction. Any Survivor fans?

I Love Crystal Myself I am a Lee fan but Crystal is real and you can tell that Girl has been through a lot of hardships in her life time so I feel for once these are the people that deserve a pick me up not some man that looks hot though Lee is finally starting to come out but Crystal has been out since day one. I like her spunk even the news talk about her she don't take no crap from no one and she gets mad when she see's the real talent being picked off the show just because people like the good looking or the sexier lady so to me the show is not about who's best anymore. Oh and I will still watch it because it was my partners and my favorite reality show they we used to share together but I will frown every time I see the better person getting voted off like I did this week. Casey should have been voted off come on he really sucked badly.

I am an American Idol fan also. My husband loved watching it. I haven't been following it as much this year have had a lot of outside things happening on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this season. From what I have seen of it Crystal and Lee do stick out in my mind.
Last year I really got into the show with Adam Lambert what a show man. I know his style is very different but he really has talent.
I have found Idol to be a nice distraction from everything too. I hope that you enjoy your hometown visit from Lee DeWyze how exciting!!!!!!

Lee is my favorite. Love the tone in his voice. He has my vote. David Cook was from my area!

Last night was home night for the last three contestants..they didn't show Lee's homecoming event just him on a plane. Was there one?

P.S. Lee was the stand out in last night's performances. Lee is going to win this season....

I'm a survivor fan. Truthfully, I don't have cable and I can't get Fox so I'm stuck with CBS only to watch. I do love survivor though, and the amazing race.

Anyone else think Russel was a scum-puppy! :D

I'm the one who started this back on the 5th from Mt. Prospect. The town actually planned to have the concert in Melas Park where my kids used to play soccer. Good thing they changed it to the racetrack nearby because 42,000 people care - including my mother and I.

What is funny is that the town advertised with regard to the parade - "there will be plenty of parking at city hall and the bank" - right. He is such a nice guy.

My daughter's teacher had him for a couple of classes and said teachers and sometimes other kids used to say he could never amount to anything and "you wait and see".

I havent been watching much Idol, I did watch the whole season of Survivor but my widow(er) brain didnt register that the last show was Sunday and I missed it. Glad to see Sandra won. My wife always watched Idol and I guess I just watched it more for her than me. It was exciting last year when the guy from Arkansas won, almost a home town boy.

I am a big-time Survivor fan. Every Thursday night at 8 p.m., I'm parked in my favorite chair, front-row seat waiting to see what outrageous things Russell can get by with. I wondered if they had all lost their minds, especially Rupert, when they trusted him in an alliance. Good grief, I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack, but what in world were they thinking? Did they not see him on the other season? Sunday night took the cake, in my estimation. He was unbelievable with his comments. One thing for sure, I was entertained beyond my wildest expectations.
