On Monday, August 17, it will be 4 weeks since my husband passed away. He was only 49. We would have been married 15 years on July 22.
I am still having a hard time and never thought I would be a widow at 42. I really need friends, support, and hugs right now.
I have always taken care of others instead of myself. And now I do not know what to do with myself to take care of me now.
I really miss him so much. I guess you could say I am still grieving.

I understand when you say you never thought you would be a widow so young...I'm 45...my husband was 15 years older than me, but he should have had another 20 years at least, by my thinking...it's been 24 weeks for me.
You have come to the right place here for support...people here totally get it, and are very compassionate, helpful and understanding. Again, I'm so sorry..
It is now, in the quite of the house, I turn to here. A club I wish I did not have to join, but is thankful for.
Some people who are used to helping others have trouble asking for help themselves. If you need a push to get yourself to a therapist, consider yourself gently pushed. And hugged.
I married my high school sweetheart and had never been on my own. I hope you find understanding and support with us. Sharon
