Hi All,
I can't believe that Friday will be 2 weeks since Bill passed away. Yesterday I think I had a panic attack at work. I just couldn't believe that he is truly gone. He went downhill so fast. A month ago we were putting together a stitching stand. Next thing I know he's in the hospital because he cant feel his legs and feet. That's when they discovered that his colon cancer had spread to his spine and brain. A month later he was gone. Also, just skin and bones. I keep looking at pictures of him when he was healthy, he was so handsome before he got sick. I know I will get thru this, I have been thru 3 divorces and both my parents are long gone. But this is different and hurts so much. I know all of you hear feel the same pain, and that is comforting, the fact that you all understand.
I am sorry for your loss, but am glad that you have found this group. The pain that you feel, that we feel is real and at least for right now with me it seems relentless. Share as you need, Rant as you need, Ask questions as you need. This is a no judgement zone.
I am approaching the four month mark and I am still trying to figure out what it means. There is something old and new each day.
