I have decided that "widow" is and acronym for Woman In Dread Of Weekends. I spent a lot of time to get 5 friends lined up to go to a musical at the park tonight and then it started raining and continues to off and on. I went down and got the lawn chairs I had set up this morning, drug them up the hill to my truck, called everybody and told them the event was off and now the weather looks a little better. Are weekends cursed? They seem to be for me. I usually have projects and meetings on weekdays but I want to socialize on the weekend so I don't miss what used to be "our time." This doesn't work a lot of times. Am I trying too hard? I feel really sad and lonely and unappreciated tonight. Any thoughts? Also, anymore acronyms for "widow/?" Ten points if you can make me laugh tonight!
