March 12 was the 9-month mark after 12I dont use the D word, because I dont believe in death, and I dont believe in passing-on or moving-on or any of that stuff, so I just call it 12.
But I go through the same emotions and head trips and grief as anyoneMarylou and I have a very strong belief that Love-Never-Dies, and that one day we will be together in eternity.
I have no reason under the sun to not believe her, and vice-versabut when you spend half your life with someone, and you become the other half of each other, never further away than a phone callall of a sudden, they are utterly irreversibly goneand you are utterly irreversibly alone.
Do any of you at times forget that they have passed to the Spirit Realm by no choice of their ownand does it ever feel like they have abandoned you? Do you find yourself having guilt trips about what did I do to make them want to do this to me? Was I really that bad?
Does it make you feel that they have turned their back on you, and thrown you away, and that you will not be with them in eternity?
This is where our grief requires us to be strong in our faithnot only in God, but also in our departed loved oneif they have spent half their life-or-more with you, would it be safe to say that they never stopped believing in you? In the first 9-months of this journey, I had to do some serious praying and meditating to let my faith become strong enough to overcome that abandonment tripIf she never stopped believing in me all those years here on earth...how could I stop believing in her now?
My answer hit me right between the headlights just this weekendwhenever I am talking to anyone about Marylou, my favorite expression is God broke the mold when He created herand in a conversation with our daughter, it occurred to me that God broke the mold when he made each and every one of us.
If the roles were reversed, and it was me who was in eternity waiting for the woman I lovewhat possible reason under the sun would I have to abandon her, and move-on as they say? I cannot imagine that would ever happen, not in five years, not in five-hundred yearsbecause God broke the mold, and it is impossible that anyone has ever been born who could take her place.
Does she not feel the same about me? Who held a gun to her head and forced her to stay with me and believe in me over half her life? Did she not do so of her free will, out of Love? She is on the other side, depending me to make my faith strong so that I will continue to believe in herand so when its my turn to cross the veil, that hers will be the first face I see!
I apologize if I sound like I actually know what Im talking about, because I dontIm the new-guy, and Im learning as I go, just like everybody elsethats why Im interested in everybody elses input on the subject.

That I do know.
Theoretical physicists, who for the most part are of the Darwinian school of empirical evidence, imply that if it cannot be proven, then it must not exist...you want to have some fun with that? Ask any Psychiatrist, who are scientists who believes in empirical evidence, and who make their living assessing peoples' sanity, if he can prove he is sane? Ever see the movie "Who's Life Is It Anyway?" Richard Dreyfuss 1981? It was shown in short order that the sanity of the psychiatrist who examined Ken Harrison was no more than a leap-of-faith, because he was unable to prove it...so much for empirical evidence (and the theory of sanity)...But, that's just my opinion.
Ultimately, I feel privileged to live in a Country where the government (as yet) does not dictate religious belief, which allows us to have congenial debate about the variety of beliefs that are held...while at the same time allowing us to love each other as human beings and fellow countrymen.
Can Reunion in the Afterlife be proven with empirical evidence? No...does that conclusively prove that Reunion in the Afterlife does not exist? Same answer: no...where does that leave us? It would make belief in Reunion in the Afterlife a leap of Faith.
And in the greatest Country in the history of the human race...that makes it a personal choice.
I termed reunion at afterlife speculative because I am not sensitive to spiritual energy and can't attune to it. It is a waste of energy for me at present to try to find details of a world that no one can prove or disprove. But it certainly has a place in my heart and in my belief system.
I haven't seen the movie you mentioned. Will search for it some time with great interest.
