and you're right ...I didn't "lose" him...I have his ashes on the dresser in the bedroom and his spirit is in heaven...just where I knew he would be!
Sometimes we gotta laugh....hugs, Jill
"You see, honey...If you had been a Philodendron or a Dieffenbachia...I could have sooooooooo saved you."
Thanks for sharing this! Makes me remember all the laughs, and the JOY!!
HUGS, Diane

I say that Bill died. Because that's what happened. The word "died" is shockingly true. Some people won't use it because it's insensitive. Well, death isn't sensitive. Just a brutal reality.
The words, "Bill died".................make it clear that he didn't intentionally walk away. Didn't intentionally leave us. I hate that "illusion."
I wish there was a short phrase to explain:
that he desperately tried to stay alive, didn't want to leave us!
Something like "ripped out of our life"
....................All I have left to say is " I miss my wife and feel a tremendous Longing for her, but I hope that I helped her "pass a good time" while we were together... I know she sure helped me pass a good time, up to and until she passed away to be with Our Lord :-) even the bad times we passed thru, the Hurricanes and the Surgeries (mine and hers) seem like good times now because we were together, loving and doing the right thing for one another... and I Thank You Lord for Giving us That :-) and for DS too.
