Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.

It feels like a part of you has died as no one was as close to you as they were. What you feel is normal...both in feeling so lost and also in trying to hide those feelings from your children. I'm sorry that I have no magic words of wisdom for you that could make it all better. The only way I've learned is to live each day one at a time. When you lay your head on your pillow at night, be thankful that you made it through another day. Let all those tears out but also remember to be thankful that you had the opportunity to know such a beautiful love like you did. Many people don't. I know that really doesn't help right now but someday you will look back on these very rough days and wonder how you ever made it through....and then you'll be proud of yourself for doing just that.
I wish you strength and courage my dear....you will always be loved....just in a different way. He's never far from your side.
Every day is a new start...just try your best.
Big hugs to you
Darcie
I wish there was answers, but in this case the answer is day by day. Sharon
