I dont feel angry at him for leaving me, but furious at cancer for taking him. Most of the time, like Sharon, I just feel sad.
I have noticed, though, that I'm getting angry at stupid things lately. Like my family being noisy when I'm trying to make mashed potatoes or they're trying to tell me how to make then without my usual ingredients (I was at my mother's house) and I ended up being up over the mixer! We're expecting snow tomorrow and I'm supposed to help my dad go to a dr appointment and I'm getting crabby about it, which I don't normally do.
I think it's because the holidays on top of the first anniversary of his death is being very hard on me and the grief and stress is just boiling over.
Yes, anger is one of the grief stages and very common, but dint discount the power of stress., it makes everything worse.
I'm so sorry for your loss, and you're so new in your grief. This is a good place to come. -Judy
